Is there a rule for determining if it's masculine or feminine

This question relates to:

Hola Sandra, If you mean a rule to determine the gender of the nouns that are modified by este, esta, estos, estas, I am afraid not. There is a general rule: nouns ending in -o are masculine and ending in -a are feminine but there are other endings like -e or -some consonants that could be masculine or feminine.
