Is siempre necessary here?
Antes siempre me quedaba trabajando hasta tarde. Ahora no.Before, I used to continue working until late. Not any more.Hi, is siempre necessary here? What would it mean without siempre? Thanks, Shirley.
This question relates to:Spanish lesson "Quedarse + [gerund] = to do something continuously in Spanish (perífrasis verbal)"

Hola Shirley
It wouldn't change the meaning massively if we drop "siempre". In a way, that "always" is implicit with the meaning of "used to". So, that siempre would simply emphasise it a bit more.
