Actually, I am mistaken. The word ganas means desire, not the verb ganar conjugated in the second person. So it must mean the narrator wanting to see the movie: ¡Qué ganas de ver la película! - I want to see this movie so much! Or more literally translated: Such desire to see the film!

Perhaps the most idiomatic translation would be: "I can't wait to see the movie".

Yes, it is idiomatic. I would say the most accurate translation would be "I am so looking forward to seeing the film!" although Alan's and Andrew's translations are very close.
