Hola, estoy confundido con respecto a "que" frente "lo que". Por ejemplo: Lo que hago no es asunto tuyo. ¿Es acceptable que no uso "lo" en ese caso?

Lo is necessary here as it is at the beginning of the sentence and it means "what" (non interrogative)
Lo que hago no es asunto tuyo. (What I do is none of your business)

The question is:
These trousers that I have had for some time, are too small for me. : Estos pantalones ___ tengo hace tiempo, me quedan pequeños.
Que/ el cual/ la cual/ los cuales/ quien/ quienes = who, that, which (relative pronouns)
The answer is "que."
The lesson states these relative pronouns are usually interchangeable.
Is there a reason I cannot also use "los cuales"?
