"Fastidiar" is another false friend. In English, to be "fastidious" is to be very attentive to detail, accuracy or cleanliness.

Hola Brett,

yes you are right. In Spanish, "ser fastidioso" refers to something being "annoying" while in English as you are saying, "being fastidious" means "being meticulous".
