Cuándo vs. cuando?
This question relates to:Spanish lesson "How to ask "When" in Spanish"
Asked 3 months ago
Hola Ben
The general rule is as follows:
- Use "cuándo" with an accent when you're asking a question (directly or indirectly).
- Use "cuando" without an accent to talk about time in general, not as a question.
Here you can find a detailed explanation about the difference between "cuándo" and "cuando" (from B1). This should help you understand their use in more complex contexts as you progress in your Spanish learning.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
Saludos
Silvia
