Contar bringing you to encontrar table is confusing me, as it shows yo encuentro instead of cuento which is the conjugation for contar

This question relates to:Spanish lesson "Conjugate stem-changing -ar verbs (o > ue) in the present tense in Spanish (El Presente)"

Hola Stephen
This is because in the lesson we can't include all verbs that undergo this irregularity as there are too many, however, at the bottom of the lesson you can see a link that takes you to a list of common verbs with o to ue change in the present (where you can see "contar").
I hope this clarified it.
