Conjugate in the near future in Spanish with ir a + infinitive (El Futuro próximo)
Hello, I got a quiz question wrong because I put "Te vas a ir" a la fiesta instead of "Vas a ir" a la fiesta. Can you please explain why it is incorrect to ask "Te vas a ir" a la fiesta?
Thank You

Hola Abcity
the use of "te" as a reflexive pronoun is a bit odd there. Did you mean to write the subject pronoun "tú" instead? "Tú vas a ir a la fiesta." - this would be correct.
We sometimes use reflexive pronouns to emphasise the action or the involvement of the person in the action, but this has a specific nuance that we are not asking or testing here.
