Hola Inma, In the introductory paragraph to this lesson, it says “the conditional clause with ‘como si’ can be placed ……” I think this should be “the conditional clause with como.” Sí?

In this case, “como si” is correct because the structure we are referring to is specifically the expression “como si + subjunctive”, which is used to mean “as if”. The conditional meaning comes from the whole expression “como si”, not from “como” on its own.
So the phrase “the conditional clause with ‘como si’” is intentional, since “como si” functions together as the conjunction introducing that type of clause.
