The usual order in Spanish is noun + adjective, but when we place it in front we want to emphasise that quality. Here is a Kwiziq lesson on the position of adjectives.

You put them after noun. When you put them before you make emphasis or you change meaning, e.g. mi amigo viejo (my old friend - old in sense he lives long). Mi viejo amigo (old in sense I know him for a long time).
