I'm about to start taking public examinations to become a firefighter in Andalusia. I've been studying eight hours a day for more than a year to prepare well for the exams. Also, I have attended a specialist school with an exam trainer who gives you useful advice to take into account the day of the exam. There are not too many vacancies and I'm going to have a lot of competition, but I'm not losing hope. If I manage to pass with a good grade, I can have a permanent contract and at last I will be a firefighter.
