Today we have been hiking and we were freezing cold. That's why, as soon as we arrived home in the afternoon we lit the fireplace and we sat in front of it to warm up. How comfortable we felt! We loved seeing how the firewood was consumed and the intense colour of the fire. Also, it started to rain and we stayed for hours gathered around the heat of the fireplace. For us, without a doubt, the fireplace is one of the best pleasures of winter and adds a homely touch to the house.
