This multicoloured monument was built in 2018 in the Colombian city of Barranquilla, with the firm intention of coinciding with the Central American and Caribbean Games which the city was host of. The construction came about from the idea by an entrepreneur who liked the expression "when a door is closed, a window opens". For this reason, the architects wanted to build a special construction that reflected this expression and that was magnificent at the same time. What a great idea they had! To this end they created a window, almost 48 meters high, which is pleasing to the eyes of passersby and is considered by many of them as one of the most important tourist attractions in the city.
