For me, the legend of Zorro is one of the most interesting in Latin America. It is not known for sure if [the] Zorro existed, but his character represented freedom and [the] rebellion against [the] abuse[s] of power that occurred in the occupied colonies by the Spanish administration[s]. The humble peasants considered [the] Zorro [as] a national hero who defended them from injustice. This legend doesn't only exist in popular literature, but it has also been carried [over] to the world of television and that's why there are several movies with his name. You should see some of these movies if you have the opportunity.
