Two friends have been to a superbike event. In this exercise you'll practise El Pretérito Imperfecto, El Pretérito Indefinido and the position of direct object pronouns.

Yesterday Alfredo and I attended a superbike event. This competition took place near Zaragoza and it was a world championship. There were a lot of people! The champion driver was Jonathan Rea and when the race ended, we were able to greet him briefly before going back home. He told us he was very happy to be the first to reach the finish line. We'll always remember this day because it was very exciting.
