-I don't want to sound dramatic, but I just committed a financial crime. -Let me guess: you bought something you didn't need. -Almost; I bought something I didn't need... and in two colors. -Oh, classic. First you buy, then you find an excuse; what was it? -A beautiful red coat. And the same one in beige, just in case. -Ah, the dreaded just in case. It always ends up being expensive. -It was 60 percent off today only; you can't beat that. The discount spoke and the brain surrendered. -So what now, remorse or euphoria? -Well, half and half; guilt in the bank, glory in the mirror. If only my reason were as quick as my finger! -If it were, brands would go bankrupt. -Then I buy for the good of the global economy. -Now that's social commitment!
