At the start of the Vuelta a España a few days ago, all the cyclists were so happy at the start line that it was hard to imagine how complicated some stages would be. Before they reach the last finish line, they will have avoided all kinds of obstacles but they will also have felt the warmth of the public, who will not have stopped encouraging them at every stage. If I were in Spain, I would have loved to attend for [on behalf of] my brother, who was unable to attend this year, because he stayed behind to study for his exams. He would have loved to pass them before, just to see la Vuelta now. I wish he could have gone and thus he could have encouraged his favorite cyclist.
