How the test works

First of all, grind almonds with icing sugar [US: powdered sugar]. Now add the egg white together with the lemon zest. Then, knead (the dough) (in order) to mix the ingredients well. When the marzipan dough is ready, roll it and wrap it in cling film [US: plastic wrap]. Store it in the fridge until the next day to firm up the dough. The next day, make figurines in different shapes, brush them with egg yolk and cook them in the oven at 180 C to brown them. The marzipan is ready!
