Una carta a Papá Noel

Read this letter from my nephew. In this exercise, you'll practise the difference between "decir" and "contar", subordinate clauses followed by the subjunctive and the position of adjectives for emphasis.

Pay attention to the hints!

Some vocabulary you may want to look up before or during this exercise: "Santa Claus", "to behave" and "electric scooter".

I’ll give you some sentences to translate into Spanish

  • I’ll show you where you make mistakes
  • I’ll keep track of what you need to practise
  • Change my choices if you want

Dear Santa Claus, my name is Ignacio and I am eight years old. I'm writing to you so that you remember that I behaved very well both at school and at home. This year I would like to ask you as gifts a red electric scooter, a giant animal jigsaw and some dinosaur toys. Also, I wish you would help sick people and don't forget those who cannot see their family. I promise you that I will continue to behave really well and I will share what you bring me with others. Thank you very much and a big Christmas hug.

Let me take a look at that...
