¡Hola!

All countries in lockdown have a had a stay-at-home message, a hashtag like #stayhome and Spain is no exception with its #quedateencasa hashtag. That's an imperative in case you were wondering! Here's a list of lessons on El Imperativo:

• Forming the imperative of tú for most verbs (affirmative commands)
• Forming the Spanish imperative of vosotros for all verbs (affirmative commands)
• Forming the imperative of tú for all irregular verbs (irregular affirmative commands)
• Forming the Spanish imperative of tú/ vosotros/vosotras (negative commands)
• Forming the imperative for usted/ustedes/nosotros/nosotras (affirmative and negative commands)

Staying at home means many public events have been cancelled, but some have found a way of reinventing themselves as a virtual, online offering. This is the case with PhotoEspaña, the annual Spanish photography event that usually takes place in Madrid. Each year has a theme and, because of the exceptional circumstances, this year's theme is Desde mi balcón (From my balcony).
