Question about use of "una"

Why did Kwiziq insert "una" in front of "astrónoma" but not in front of  "miembro"?

Actually, nowadays, it's possible, and I didn't know that, to use feminine nouns and pronouns with "miembro". See this from RAE :

miembro. 1.

Actually, my question is not at all about gender. Rather, what I'm asking about is the use of the article (in this case it was "una", but it could have been "un") prior to a noun. I've not yet found a Kwiziq lesson that explains clearly when "un" or "una" should (and should not) be inserted before a noun (or a noun's modifier). I'd learned somewhere that it was not necessary to insert it before mentioning one's profession, but clearly that was NOT the case in this particular writing exercise.
