Creo que without Subjuntivo?

Creo que without Subjuntivo?

Creo que el año próximo volveré a Sevilla .

Why is it not correct to use El Subjuntivo de Presente here, when the sentence starts with creo que? All the possible answers used Futuro instead.

For the sentence to be in the subjunctive it would have to be in the negative i.e. no creo que vuelva a Sevilla

The sentence you stated is in the affirmative therefore the verb is conjugated in the indicative.

I've learned that creo que takes the indicative mood, whereas no creo que always takes subjunctive.
