It is ok to respond back with "Y tu tambien" when someone says to me in Spanish "Que tengas un buen fin de semana."

Hola Genee, Yes that would be fine.

If written it would be “Y tú también” with both accents. Note also that you can happily drop the ‘y” and just have “Tú también.” Don’t forget the option of “Ustedes también” in a more formal situation. Saludos. John
