Conjugate querer in the present tense in Spanish (El Presente)

The Spanish verb querer (to want) is semi-regular since its stem changes in some forms in El Presente but it has regular ‑er group endings.

yo quiero
quieres
él / ella / Ud.   quiere
nosotros / nosotras  queremos
vosotros / vosotras  queréis
ellos / ellas / Uds.    quieren

The first vowel -e- in the stem becomes -ie- except for the nosotros and vosotros forms.

Yo quiero visitar una exposición en el Museo del Prado.I want to see an exhibition in the Prado Museum.

¡Tú nunca quieres bailar la noche entera, aguafiestas!You never want to dance all night, party pooper!

Ella quiere un vestido de Hannibal Laguna para la fiesta.She wants a Hannibal Laguna dress for the party.

Nosotros queremos saltar en paracaídas este fin de semana.We want to go parachuting this weekend.

¿Vosotros queréis participar en la obra de teatro?Do you want to participate in the play?

Ellos quieren ir a la ópera esta noche.They want to go to the opera tonight.
 

¿Ustedes quieren un perro?Do you want a dog?
