All my Galician friends had told me that I should go to the Cíes Islands this summer whenever I had the opportunity. Now that I have visited them, I understand the reason for their insistence. If you knew how beautiful they are! The Cíes are in the province of Pontevedra, these islands have divine beaches, among them Rodas beach was chosen as the best beach in the world by various British media. But when I was on these islands, although it was unbearably hot, I couldn't swim since the water was freezing. It would have been extremely brave to swim in those waters and instead of that, I used the opportunity to take a walk in the natural park, where there were beautiful views of the Atlantic ocean.
