Before I used to drive everywhere. Now I defend public transport every time someone criticises it. My colleagues say the metro is too slow and unreliable. I don't think it's fair to judge it without trying it. If I had a car, I would spend hours stuck in traffic. It has been proven that public transport reduces pollution. I wish more people would understand its real benefits. It's essential that the city invest in better infrastructure. Although the bus is sometimes late, it's still more sustainable. I had already decided to sell my car before my friends found out. If I had known about the bike-sharing scheme sooner, I would have joined. I would have saved a lot of money if I had used the train more. There isn't anyone who can convince me that driving is better. If the city built more bike lanes, fewer people would need cars. It is said that some politicians want to cut the public transport budget. I hope the city improves the service so that everyone benefits.
