For example, family and friends talk about politics, work, culture or personal experiences. It's often accompanied by drinks such as coffee, tea or a digestive liqueur. In many homes, the after-dinner conversation can last as long as the meal itself. This moment reflects the importance that Spain places on social interaction. Ultimately, it's clear that food is also a social and cultural act.
