Every December I hear everyone talking about resolutions and changes. I, on the other hand, don't want to start from scratch every year. I think it's incredibly unrealistic! I'm not about becoming a completely new person. I prefer to keep growing little by little, without rushing. Sometimes, the pressure to improve steals our peace and I've learned that accepting yourself is also a way to move forward. You don't have to change everything to feel good. In my case, I want to take care of what I already have and strengthen my habits. I'm not really looking for a perfect version of myself, but a more conscious and realistic one. This year I want to live with gratitude and balance; enjoy the everyday, without comparing myself so much. So I won't be "a new me," just a calmer "me."
