Mark works at a pizzeria in Chicago. He isn’t Latino, but he speaks Spanish very well. He learned with the delivery guys: they’re all from Guatemala. Every day, he hears jokes, songs and recipes in Spanish. Now he cooks corn tortillas better than his boss! A customer thought he was from Guatemala. Mark laughed and said to him: “No, I’m from Kansas!” At home, he teaches Spanish to his cat, Pancho. His friends think he's crazy… but Pancho understands more Spanish than they do.
