We've been wanting to do something for the planet for a long time so we decided to install a special system to collect rainwater at home. We bought a large tank and placed it in the garden. We also installed gutters on the roof (in order) to direct the water into the tank. The first rain came soon, and we were thrilled to see the tank fill up. We used that water to water the plants in the garden and wash the car. Little by little, we began to notice how our water bill went down, but the best thing of all was realizing that we were helping the environment with that simple action.
