Wind power uses the wind to produce electricity. Wind turbines are large windmills that capture the wind, and their blades spin with it. When the blades spin, they generate energy, and this energy produces electricity. Wind power is a renewable energy source. It does not pollute the air or water. Wind power helps reduce the use of fossil fuels.
