Years ago, there was a very famous festival which was called the OTI Festival. Many Spanish and Portuguese-speaking countries of the American continent participated in it, and also Equatorial Guinea. This contest was the equivalent to the Eurovision Song Contest. In 1992 and 1993 there were 25 participating countries. Unfortunately, due to money problems and doubts about the voting system, it disappeared in 2000 after 28 editions.

Clever stuff happening!
