My history teacher says that Latin American art originated in Western artistic trends. Some important art styles that evolved in Latin America were classical art, coming from Rome and Ancient Greece; the Baroque art that the Spanish brought and that also integrated indigenous elements; and impressionism, which was an artistic revolution from the end of the 19th century.
