In Ecuador, we celebrate Holy Week every year. We have the custom of visiting the Seven Churches to commemorate the journey of Jesus. In these churches, we pray and ask for forgiveness. Also, on those days we eat fanesca, a fish and vegetable dish; and we go to the processions. In them, we dress in black as a sign of respect.
