The Dúo Dinámico are an extremely popular group from the 60s who are still active today. Its founding members, Manuel de la Calva and Ramón Arcusa, are singer-songwriters, record producers and actors. The song Resistiré was a hit in 1988 and had a resurgence when Pedro Almodovar included it on the soundtrack of his film ¡Átame! (known as Tie me up! Tie me down! in English) in 1990. During the 2020 pandemic lockdown people started playing it from their balconies so much that it has become a literal song of resistance and a new version sung by modern artists has been recorded for charity. Here's the original version. This exercise can help you practise Cuando + El Presente de Subjuntivo vs Cuando + El Presente de Indicativo, Aunque + El Presente vs El Presente de Subjuntivo and Using the "accidental" reflexive (se) with an indirect object pronoun.
