¡Muy buenos días!
It's back to my favourite subject today: food! But from a slightly different angle from my previous food posts. Today I'd like to give a special mention to Spanish chef José Andrés, who appeared on the cover of Time magazine at the beginning of the month.
The reason for this honour is his humanitarian work with his NGO World Central Kitchen, an organisation devoted to providing meals in the wake of natural disasters. This Michelin-starred Asturian now lives in the USA; in fact some say he's the man who brought the small plates phenomenon to America. Since the crisis began he has converted many of his restaurants into community kitchens to help the most vulnerable. Read about his work here:
As it's Friday, I'd like to share one of our dictations. These, along with our Writing Challenges, are sent to our Premium users every Friday, but today we are offering this dictation about female Spanish chefs with Michelin stars for free:
¡Que aproveche!
