¡Buenos días!
I've been thinking about teachers and children today. If you are living in a lockdown situtation, how much notice were parents and teachers given to get organised? In Spain, teachers were given less than 48 hours to put a system of tele-educación into place.
Parents of course are wondering how teachers ever managed and teachers are wondering how to keep going; it's one thing to review topics already covered but can they effectively teach new subjects to children who are easily distracted outside a classroom setting? One thing is for certain, it's a learning experience for everyone!
Take a look at this article discussing the many ways different schools are keeping children learning:
Here's a B2 Bilingual Reader that looks back on returning to school after the long summer break, something that seems a distant memory for teachers, parents and children these days!
Watch the video, then read the transcript. Click any phrase for the translation and links to related grammar lessons which you can add to your Kwiziq notebook to practise later.
Those were the days!
