Kalimotxo is a drink that surprises tourists. It is believed to originate from Bilbao in the seventies, when two friends who were called Kalimero and Motxo realized that the wine that they had bought was off and they decided to mix it with coca-cola to improve the flavour. This idea was a great success among young people because it meant drinking without spending too much money and soon spread throughout Spain. If you decide to try this drink, do not forget that the best mixture is the one that has wine and coca-cola in equal parts, and the better the wine, the better the final result!

Clever stuff happening!
